GE MDS is experienced in providing major systems, which includes Afribank Communications Network for Amfas Electronics Ltd. The system consists of GE MDS 960D, 950D and 400S series digital radio links connecting the bank headquarters in Lagos with fourteen branch offices in the Lagos area. The system was implemented in several phases. The GE MDS radios are used to provide a Wide Area Network (WAN), allowing Afribank to automate account transactions within the Lagos area.
