The system uses KVF.5 compressed voice module to provide direct E1 digital trunk interfaces between the PABX's. The KVF.5 modules compress each of the voice time slots while passing the CCS time slot. This provides full inter-office signaling between the PABX's and allows them to function as a single PABX.
