Product Services Return Policy: You must obtain a Service Request Order (SRO) number to return GE MDS products for warranty, non-warranty, and product conversion servicing. The SRO number is a tracking number used to ensure prompt product servicing.
No product will be accepted for service without an SRO number.
In order to expedite your SRO, we now issue SRO numbers online instantly. We also remember your contact information to make it easier for you on future visits. You will be asked to create a GE MDS Web Account if you don't already have one.

When requesting an SRO, number please be sure to have the model number(s), serial number(s), detailed reason for return, "ship to" address, "bill to" address, and contact name, phone number, and fax number. Purchase order number or pre-payment will be required for any unit(s) that are out of warranty, or for product conversion.

Customers with higher volume servicing needs may take advantage of GE MDS Blanket SRO numbers. Blanket SRO numbers eliminate the need to call for an SRO number each time equipment is returned for service, upgrade or conversion. A Blanket SRO number can be used for all instances of equipment returns over a specified period of time.
