GE MDS Wireless Systems Group department provides a comprehensive documentation package for systems and/or rack integration orders. Your documentation package is custom made, based on the equipment supplied for your order. Drawings are assigned an alphanumeric drawing number based on the five digit customer order number. You can obtain copies of documentation for any system we ship simply by providing us with the rack P/N stenciled on every rack. We provide documentation at the rack level, site level, and system level, depending on the size and complexity of your order. Rack Level DocumentationAll racks are provided with the following documentation:
The assembly drawing shows the front and side view of the equipment rack, with all equipment drawn in pictorial format. The radio equipment description will include the far end destinations and operating frequencies. The cabling diagram shows a detailed rear view of the equipment with all interconnections shown in a skyway format. All customer connections are clearly identified. Special assemblies are also provided with their own documentation, as a sub-set of the overall order documentation. For most integration orders, the standard documentation and equipment manuals provide adequate information to install and maintain the system. For very large systems, which may include a variety of sub-systems, we can optionally provide a system level manual.
